CYRILLE DE HAES
Born in 1977 in Brussels and trained as double bass and electric bass player at Royal Conservatory of Brussels, Cyrille de Haes is a 20 years experienced musician. Working firstly as sideman, he quickly composed for theatre plays, ballets, performances and movie scores. With fellow Manuel Roland, he won in 2017 Le Magritte du Cinema for best original music ("Parasol" directed by Valery Rosier - Wrong Men Production).
Evolving in different scenes (from experimental jazz to modern classical and drone music) he's now focusing on avant garde trio Piloot, string quintet Bow and his solo project Otto Lindholm releasing music in labels such as Houndstooth, Gizeh records, Blackest ever Black, Aurora Borealis Recordings, Icarus Records, Bedouin Records, Sub Rosa, 7k!,...
