MICK LEMAIRE

Mick Lemaire roams through soundscapes while exploring a variety of genres. You could describe his compositions as a romantic noise, yet melodic but darkly dreamful. He composes music for film, documentary, dance and theatre while also working as a music producer for urban artists. As a multi-instrumentalist, he discovers different mediums to experiment with. Be it playing lazy detuned psych guitar or finding the most crunchy area of his organ’s spectrum, the adventure seems never-ending. His solo project is named ‘Verlanger’ which is an invented Dutch noun that translates as ‘Desirer’ or ‘The one who desires’.
